Mama, how do you do your IP Man karate chop?

I took Mum to see the orthopaedist yesterday. I was thrilled when the doctor said, “Aunty, your wrist is fully recovered.” The x-ray shows that the fracture has healed. The doctor pressed different parts of her hand. The only pain she felt was when he bent her hand to test her flexibility. Otherwise she felt no pain.
She needs to relearn how to use her hand by exercising and stretching her muscles to regain strength and full mobility. Her next appointment is six months later vs the monthly checks she’s been having since her fall three months ago on 8 December 2024.
Well done to Mum who has been most cooperative when doing her finger and wrist stretching and bearing the pain. A very special appreciation to NPT our helper who has been doggedly managing Mum’s physiotherapy three (sometimes more) times a day and cheering her on. 😂 LOL often “tricking” her into doing exercising, going for walks, pushing her limits, and making it a game.
Mum loves watching IP Man movies played by martial arts master Donnie Yen. She falls asleep watching too-much-talking movies. She likes action packed martial arts movies and can watch them over and over again. When in her joking mood, she would show off her IP Man or Bruce Lee impersonation.
We are celebrating and so thankful to our Father in heaven for his grace and healing. She’s healing amazingly well for a 93-year-old.
P.S. You can read about her fall here https://angelinekoh.com/caregiver/handicap/
Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved,
for you are my praise.
