How am I to live the rest of my life?
I started reading ate (older sister) Thelma’s book, “Leaping and Dancing – The Stories of Samaritana.” This is such rich reading. Honestly and beautifully written, Thelma interweaves her experiences, feelings and reflections pioneering Samaritana with the stories of women coming out of prostitution – trauma, exploitation, abuse, and painful past.

Her stories recount not just how Samaritana began 33 years ago – chronos time measured by days, hours, and minutes – but how these events are kairos encounters with a loving, living heavenly Father.
A timely read even as I search for meaning and God’s purposes for me at the start of this new season. I have been asking what life will look like when my heavenly Father takes Mum home. She’s 94. She is fun-loving, witty, in good health, mentally alert, and generally mobile with many more good years.
Why did Father bring me back to the Philippines? I turn 65 in 5 days. How am I to live the rest of my life?
