An unexpected journey
I stumbled on (digital) storytelling, fell in love with it, got hooked, and never recovered.
My social enterprise, Tyros (formerly Digital Storytelling Asia Pte Ltd), came about as a result of a series of accidents. There was really no grand plan, no strategy, no thought of starting a company. What began as an accidental discovery, became a hobby, a passion, and eventually a career and life calling.
In Latin, the word TYROS means a recruit, beginner in learning anything; a novice. TYROS is also a play of the word STORY, which is what I am all about.
